Aniston denies Brad Pitt phone call

Reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie called Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston to announce Angelina was pregnant were all "made-up lies", the former 'Friends' star's representative said today.

In a sign of increasing acrimony between Brad and Jen since the couple split in January last year, Jen's publicist, Stephen Huvane, cleared up reports that the pair had spoken before word of Angelina's pregnancy surfaced.

It indicates that Jennifer heard the news the same way everyone else did - through the media.

Brad's publicist confirmed the pregnancy yesterday but declined to give further details, including when the baby was due, or to say whether the couple had plans to marry.
