Corrie signs £20m sponsorship deal
Coronation Street announced the UK’s biggest broadcast sponsorship deal today.
The soap has renewed its agreement with Cadbury Schweppes with a £20m (€29m) two-year deal.
The chocolate maker has sponsored the ITV show for the last 10 years.
Coronation Street is the longest-running and most popular TV drama in Britain, regularly attracting audiences in excess of 10 million.
Cadbury’s benefits from a short advert before and after every show and during the advertising break.
