Burton considers movie version of Sweeney Todd musical

Director Tim Burton could be about to work with his favourite actor, Johnny Depp, for a sixth time.

The pair, who've enjoyed numerous hits together ranging from Edward Scissorhands to last year's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are considering collaborating for a movie version of Sweeney Todd.

The film would be based on Stephen Sondheim's musical which is currently playing to rave reviews on Broadway.
