Sorvino to have second child

Oscar-winner Mira Sorvino is expecting her second child with husband Chris Backus. The baby is due this summer.

The actress, who won an Oscar in 1995 for her role in Woody Allen’s Mighty Aphrodite, already has a one-year-old daughter called Mattea.

Thirty-eight-year-old Sorvino married Backus, 24, in June 2004, having got engaged within a month of meeting. “I’m so excited Mattea is going to have a sibling,” says Sorvino. “We’re going to be a family of four.”
