Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson is eyeing a walk-on part in Australian soap opera Neighbours.

The I Predict A Riot rocker, who insists years of watching the show helped him during the band's recent tour of Australia, has wanted to appear in the show ever since seeing The Pet Shop Boys filming a cameo appearance in 1995.
