Geldof: I am no conservative politician

Campaigning rocker Bob Geldof has denied supporting the Conservative party, despite agreeing to develop the group's policy on tackling world poverty.

The former Boomtown Rats frontman, who organised musical charity extravaganza Live 8 earlier this year, insists his only interest is reducing suffering in the developing world.
