British girl group Sugababes have replaced former bandmate Mutya Buena with unknown singer Amelle Berrabah.

Members Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range are thrilled with their new star and have already recorded her vocals for forthcoming single Red Dress.

And Berrabah is delighted with her new found fame, insisting she has always been a huge fan of the sexy trio's music.

Berrabah says: "For years I've dreamed of breaking into the music business but never did I think that one day I would be the third Sugababe.

"When their manager approached me with the offer I was in such a state of shock, I couldn't even answer him. I've been a fan of theirs for years."

Original Sugababe Buchanan says: "When we met Amelle for the first time it just felt so right. We can't wait for next year to show her off."
