Beckham tipped to become TV judge

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is set to appear as a judge on Simon Cowell's new TV talent show next year.

The acid-tongued American Idol judge has recruited Beckham, whose solo attempts flopped in the charts, to appear alongside media mogul Piers Morgan in the new British reality show, which is set to rival the success of Pop Idol and The X Factor.

A TV insider says: "Simon has wanted to team up with Victoria for years. He's absolutely thrilled and is confident the new show will be a huge success."
