Blige pens thank-you track for husband

R&B star Mary J Blige wrote a song for husband Kendu Isaacs on her forthcoming album The Breakthrough, to personally thank him for saving her life.

The singer credits Isaacs, whom she married in 2003, for helping her survive her battle with drink and drugs.

The track, titled No One Will Do, is the first song on the Grammy winner's seventh studio album, which is due to hit shelves this week.

She reveals: "Yesterday was our second wedding anniversary but work commitments meant we had no time to celebrate.

"My husband has helped me so much. We're in this together. We love each other.

"It was him who gave me the confidence to believe in myself. I was always the girl who hid away. Now I believe I am beautiful, strong and courageous.

"He gave me the love and attention I'd never had before. It was healthy for me and he put me back together again."
