British film star Keira Knightley was brought back down to earth after hearing of her Golden Globe nomination on Tuesday - when her mother told her she wouldn't win.

The 20-year-old beauty is up against Dame Judi Dench, Laura Linney, Sarah Jessica Parker and Reese Witherspoon in the Best Actress - Musical Or Comedy category at the January ceremony.
