Film legend Peter O'Toole has lashed out at Hollywood's overuse of special effects, joking actors will soon be replaced by "holograms".

The Lawrence Of Arabia actor, 73, jumped at the chance to star in this year's Lassie remake when he discovered the lovable collie would be a real dog.
