Possible Green Day film in the pipeline

Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong confirmed the band may produce a screenplay on their lives.

Speaking at a press conference in Sydney, ahead of the final leg of their American Idiot world tour, he said: "We are definitely talking about it but we haven't had time to sit down because we have been touring so much."

Also the good news is that while most groups of their calibre would either split due to pressure or to pursue solo careers, Green Day plan to remain a group after 16 years together.

"One thing we have learnt is to stick together in our career because it's a rollercoaster ride," said the singer.
