Rowling treats kids to handmade Christmas

Harry Potter author JK Rowling is treating her three children to handmade gifts this Christmas, at a cost of about £3,000 (€4,500).

The 40-year-old has commissioned artist David Plagerson, from Totnes, England, to make three miniature Noah's Arks with her kids names engraved on them.

And Rowling hopes the personalised presents will appeal to Jessica, 12, David, two, and one-year-old Mackenzie Jean.
