DiCaprio makes doomsday documentary

Environmentalist actor Leonardo DiCaprio is making a film-length documentary about the problems facing the planet and what people can do to save it.

The Aviator star, who runs his own eco website leonardodicaprio.org, has financial backing from poker-playing legend Doyle Brunson to make 11th Hour, which he will co-write and narrate.

Brunson tells PageSix.com: "It was a no-brainer to team up with Leo on this film.

"I know we'll be able to raise a lot of awareness for an issue that plagues our world."
