Coldplay tops Q magazine poll
Coldplay's 'X&Y' has been named the best album of 2005 in a list compiled by British rock magazine Q.
Gorillaz's 'Demon Days' came next in the Q ranking, followed by 'Employment' by Kaiser Chiefs and the Oasis release 'Don't Believe The Truth'.
Bright Eyes, James Blunt, Franz Ferdinand, Arcade Fire, KT Tunstall and Hard-Fi completed the top 10 of the Q album list.
Tracks from the top albums - Oasis' 'The Importance of Being Idle', Coldplay's 'Fix You' and Kaiser Chiefs' 'I Predict A Riot' - were named singles of the year.
