George Michael to remain childless

British pop singer George Michael abandoned his childhood dream of becoming a father when he realised he was gay.

The Faith star has ruled out ever adopting and insists he and partner Kenny Goss are happy to remain childless.

Michael says: "I wanted to be a father when I was younger, but since I realised I was gay I've never thought about it.

"I would never consider adopting a child."
