Elton planning hen party

British celebrity couple Elton John and David Furnish are planning to go wild before their upcoming nuptials with a joint hen (bachelorette) party.

The Rocket Man singer and Canadian film producer will wed on 21 December, just weeks after same-sex civil partnerships become legal in England.

And famous pal George Michael told listeners of London's Capital FM radio yesterday, the grooms-to-be are planning a lavish, loud pre-wedding bash.

Michael says: "I think they're having a hen night before, which is not going to be so low-key (as their wedding). I might not be there for that."

However, Michael and his partner Kenny Goss will be attending the ceremony.
