X Factor: Conway Sisters evicted

Chico time was extended for another week as the Conway Sisters became the latest act evicted from ITV’s X Factor.

The warbling Irish foursome narrowly lost out to livewire Chico Slimani in the show’s Saturday voting finale.

Judges Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh decided the 34-year-old Moroccan – whose catchphrase is “It’s Chico time” – had earned the right to stay despite a rendition of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean that left audience members visibly flinching in pain.

Louis made well-publicised threats to walk out on the show this week after Sharon threw water in his face.

However, he took his seat on the panel as usual, insisting: “I’m back with a vengeance.”
