Stiller stars in madcap animated adventure

BEN STILLER and Chris Rock lead the voices for a bunch of animals in the entertaining animation Madagascar (Universal, €24.99, €29.99) when four animal friends escape from a zoo and end up in Madagascar.

What makes the film work, however, are the minor characters - a bunch of penguins trying to travel to Antarctica and the outrageous King Julien (Sacha Baron Cohen), the lemur royal.

In the one-disc version there are two commentaries (one by those lovable penguins, and the other from the filmmakers), there’s a bloopers reel, a meet the cast featurette and games. The two-disc version adds lots more of the same.
