Paris rides to the American music awards

Socialite Paris Hilton is already making the most of her new customised motorbike gift - she'll ride it onto the stage at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles tonight.

Mechanics at Beverly Hills Choppers unveiled their Paris Hilton chopper recently and handed over the keys to the hotel heiress last week.

The custom-made $250,000 (€213,737) pink bike is encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

Hilton will ride onto the stage at tonight's lavish event before presenting one of the awards.
