Watts slams remakes

Hollywood beauty Naomi Watts has blasted movie remakes as unoriginal and tired - despite starring in the new version of King Kong.

Watts, who stars as Ann Darrow in the big budget remake of the 1933 gorilla classic, is saddened by the current lack of fresh screenplays in cinemas.
