Rock biopic Stoned is disappointing

Wooley is credited with some of the finest films from the recent Brit past; but this one won’t be added to the list.

It looks at the troubled life and still-mysterious death of Rolling Stones founder-member Brian Jones (Gregory) and asks, if you’re interested, if he wasn’t, in fact, murdered?

Sadly, for all true Stones fans, the answer, based on the film, might well be ‘Who cares?’

De Woolfson plays Mick Jagger and, apparently, the remaining old rockers gave their approval for the film. Like, er: why?
