Stone settles facelift lawsuit

The Basic Instinct actress has dropped her lawsuit against cosmetic surgeon Dr Renato Calabria, whom she accused of implying that he had performed surgery on her.

The suit was filed in December 2004 after Dr Calabria was quoted in a magazine talking about Stone and, according to the movie star, suggesting that she had undergone a little nip/tuck.

Now, a settlement has been reached between the Beverly Hills doctor and the 47-year-old star, with lawyers arguing that it was all the result of a misunderstanding.

Stone won’t be getting any cash however. Dr Calabria has instead agreed to perform several pro bono surgeries to underprivileged children who are in need of them.
