McCartney hosts land mine benefit in Beverly Hills
Paul McCartney and his wife, Heather Mills McCartney, hosted a benefit gala in Beverley Hills to put an end to land mines, which the ex-Beatle said kill one child every 18 minutes.
Governments should “listen to the voice of the people” and sign a treaty banning the deadly devices, Sir Paul said as he arrived for last night’s event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
