John Lennon's digital back catalogue will not be made available to iTunes users due to a legal wrangle between The Beatles' management company Apple Corps and technology giant Apple.

Apple Corps contends that Apple's iTunes and iPod brands are in breach of a trademark agreement made by the two companies in 1981 over their company names.
