Corrs receive honorary MBEs from Queen Elizabeth

The Corrs have received honorary MBEs from England's Queen Elizabeth in recognition of their contribution to music and their charity work.

The family-based four-piece from Dundalk, Co Louth, were presented with an award each at the British Ambassador's residence in Dublin today.

The Corrs' blend of traditional Irish and pop music has won them many fans worldwide.

They have also played a host of concerts to raise money for the victims of the Omagh bombings, the Princes' Trust in Britain and other charitable causes.
