Elizabethtown doesn't wear well
Elizabethtown
Cameron Crowe
Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst
15
You might venture that this film lacks sole; since Bloom's character is a failed, and sacked, shoe designer.
You might also venture that as a film nothing much about it actually works.
On the verge of suicide - Bloom's character, not the audience - he is sent to his home town to make arrangements for his father's funeral.
On the way he meets off-centre air hostess Dunst. And, really, that's about it since Crowe and his writers seem to have abandoned all efforts to work up a passable plotline.
