Catherine Zeta-Jones has laughed off rumours she upset Sharon Stone by beating her to the lead role in new film Stompanato.

The Welsh beauty and wife of Stone's Basic Instinct screen lover Michael Douglas, will play legendary actress Lana Turner in the movie.
