Zeta-Jones dismisses Stone 'rivalry'

Catherine Zeta-Jones has laughed off rumours she upset Sharon Stone by beating her to the lead role in new film Stompanato.

The Welsh beauty and wife of Stone's Basic Instinct screen lover Michael Douglas, will play legendary actress Lana Turner in the movie.

But she insists she knows nothing of a supposed rivalry.

She says: "I don't know about Sharon being upset about not getting to play Lana. And I know her well. But guess what? I wanted to be in Basic Instinct 2!"
