Bowie and Martin sought for new Extras

Rock heroes David Bowie and Chris Martin are being lined up for the second series of British comedian Ricky Gervais' TV show Extras.

The Office creator has already featured a string of Hollywood stars in cameo roles but he is desperate to get more musicians on board.
