Diaz lectures university students

A-list star Cameron Diaz gave students at Stanford University a huge shock on Thursday when she turned up unannounced to give a lecture on environmentally friendly design.

The Charlie's Angels star's appearance was filmed for the MTV series Stand In, where celebrities such as Marilyn Manson, Melissa Etheridge and Kanye West have appeared as guest lecturers at colleges across America.
