Spears threatens to sue over stolen baby photos

Pop babe Britney Spears has threatened legal action after stolen photographs of her newborn son appeared on the internet.

Images of one-month-old Sean Preston have already been shown on several websites, but Spears and her husband Kevin Federline insist the pictures were pinched from a private photo shoot.

Spears' record label, Jive Records, released the following statement on Friday: "Anyone who publishes, sells or otherwise exploits any of these images in any way will be subject to liability and damages for willful infringement of copyright, and will be liable for invasion of privacy."
