Sarandon and Robbins display trophies in bathroom

Susan Sarandon and her longtime partner Tim Robbins have found the perfect place to house their collection of awards - the bathroom.

The screen stars have scooped an impressive haul of trophies over the years - including an Oscar each - but rather than proudly display their glittering collection in a prominent part of their New York City home, they've stacked them in one of their bathrooms.

Sarandon says: "We have a bathroom that the kids call the 'famous bathroom', because it's got all of the things on the wall. I don't know how it started…

"The guests see it a lot, and Tim's (Oscar), strangely enough, looks a little taller (than mine), I don't quite understand why.

"And there are the other ones that are anatomically correct that are from other countries. Like the Italian ones all have 'swords'."
