Roberts thrills ex-stylist with open-house shoot
Julia Roberts made the most of her latest magazine photoshoot, by turning her ranch in Taos, New Mexico into a home from home for the stylists, photographers and their families.
The actress agreed to open up her home and showed off her 11-month-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus as a thank you to her former stylist, Joe Zee, who is now the editor-in-chief of a top US magazine.
And when Zee set up the cover shoot, which was to feature the famous mum trying on a treasure trove of the latest fashions from top designers like Carolina Herrera and Prada, Roberts wanted to turn the whole project into a family affair.
She invited her favourite photographer Michael Thompson and his family to join Zee and his crew.
Zee recalls: "The best part of our welcome to New Mexico? The beer-and-pizza party that Julia throws for us."
Roberts' open-house photoshoot appears in the winter 2005 issue of Vitals Woman magazine.
