Hollywood beauty Claire Danes was a delusional toddler haunted by disturbing visions and prone to obsessive-compulsive behaviour.
The Romeo & Juliet star, who holds a degree from Yale University in psychology, imagined she was tormented by demonic creatures for much of her early childhood.
She tells PageSix.Com: "I believed there was a gargoyle who made me assume bizarre positions and stay that way for a long time.
"Evil creatures would taunt and bully me. I was very afraid."
