Stewart's soccer wedding dreams

Rod Stewart wants to celebrate his wedding next summer with the Scotland soccer team, after they have won the World Cup in Germany.

The rocker plans to marry longterm girlfriend Penny Lancaster in the south of France, and he's desperate for the players to join him, and bring the coveted trophy with them - despite the fact they are still struggling to qualify for the tournament.

But Lancaster is keen for a smaller, quieter celebration.

She says: "I don't want a huge wedding - but Rod's up for inviting the world and his wife."
