Sugababes furious over split rumours

Sugababes have been left infuriated by a string of stories in the music press claiming the British pop trio are secretly preparing to split up.

The Round Round singers - who's fourth studio album Taller In More Ways is released next month - are astonished people continue to believe they are going their separate ways.

Singer Heidi Range says: "I don't know why people keep saying we're going to split.

"Even when we're in the studio writing this album there were reports we were doing a greatest hits and that would be the last album we would do together.

"And we're looking at each other in the studio writing the new album and shrugging our shoulders.

"If we were going to split we would tell people. It wouldn't be some big secret.

"But we're not splitting or we wouldn't be writing a new album."
