Musicians and stars hold hurricane telethon
A host of musicians and stars, including Chris Rock, came together to help the thousands of refugees displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
With Katrina’s flood waters yet to recede, Randy Newman sang about a long-ago hurricane in “Louisiana 1927” to open a benefit programme spread across dozens of television networks.
