Oxegen makes top 5 in Best Festival poll

This summer’s music festival Oxegen has made it to the top 5 in a poll of best music festivals in the UK and Ireland.

The poll of 10,000 people was organised by NME and placed Oxegen at number 5, ahead of Live8 and the popular V Festival in London.

The long-running Glastonbury and Reading music festivals topped the poll in first and second place respectively.

Headliners at Oxegen, The Foo Fighters, made it to the number one spot in the best band category.
