Veteran actor Ben Kingsley had to be rescued from a set of false teeth by controversial director Roman Polanski, while filming a remake of Oliver Twist.

The Ghandi Oscar-winner, who was wearing the dentures for his role as Fagin in a fresh adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, was shocked to realise that the grotesque false teeth were stuck in his mouth - and feared that he might never get them out again.
