Minogue facing agonising wait

Australian singer Kylie Minogue endured her last session of chemotherapy on Friday - but doctors have told her she will have to wait two months until they can determine if the treatment has been successful.

The Spinning Around star has been making regular visits to Paris' Institute Gustave Roussy as she battles the breast cancer which forced her to postpone the homecoming leg of her Showgirl world tour in May.

A source close to Minogue told British newspaper the News Of The World; "Kylie is going through hell at the moment. The sessions are bad enough but having to wait for two months to be told whether it was all worth it is just awful.

"But she is very strong and is getting on with her life and trying not to think about it. It's all in the hands of the gods now. She's had the best treatment you can have in the world. She can't do anything else."
