Crowe needs a cuddle

Russell Crowe is so happily married that he wonders how he lived before he became a husband and a father.

The Hollywood tough-guy, famed for his violent temper, loves the closeness of family life and credits his wife Danielle Spencer and son Charlie with turning his life around.

And he hates being parted from her for even a few days.

He said: "You start scratching your head and try to work out how you ever lived without 40 or 50 cuddles a day.

"The change that has taken place in my life after becoming a husband and a father is massive."
