Green Day to headline hurricane relief gig

Green Day have been added to the star-studded line-up for next week's Hurricane Katrina relief concert.

The American Idiot stars will join a galaxy of stars including Alicia Keys at the forthcoming concert, which is one of three scheduled to raise money and lift spirits after the horrific disaster struck Louisiana.

The first hurricane benefit show will take place today with swing king Harry Connick Jr, hat-sporting country sensation Tim McGraw and movie hunk Leonardo Di Caprio expected to appear.
