Stars line up for Hurricane telathon

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tim McGraw and Harry Connick Jr have signed up to star in a telethon to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.

The stars will perform and appear during the hastily-organised NBC TV fundraising benefit, which will air tomorrow night.

Hundreds of people have been killed in one of the worst natural disasters ever to hit mainland America.
