Combs victorious in assault case
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has scooped a court house victory, after a Michigan judge ruled he did not assault a talk show host following a 1999 interview.
TV talk show host Roger Mills of Detroit filed a lawsuit against Combs, his company Bad Boy Entertainment, bodyguard Ron Gilyard and a local radio station after he alleged he was assaulted after an interview with the rap mogul.
The interview ended suddenly when Mills inquired whether or not Combs had rapper Notorious BIG killed in 1997.
The host claimed that when Combs exited the building, his bodyguards attacked him, broke a television camera and took the interview footage, writes AllHipHop.com.
Combs had already won a previous ruling last year, but Mills appealed the decision, claiming a jury should have heard a taped phone conversation that he had with the star and his bodyguard, which would have incriminated him.
