So Solid Crew rapper stars in urban drama

In Bullet Boy (Verve Pictures) directed by Saul Dibb. Ashley Walters (Asher D from So Solid Crew) plays Ricky, a just released young hood anxious to put his life together and build a future with his girlfriend.

But he is drawn into a row which has tragic consequences for everyone, including his younger brother, Curtis (a good performance by Luke Fraser).

This is a decent urban drama, with Walters showing fine acting skills. Saul Dibb, more renowned as a documentary maker, shows he has a bright future with feature films.
