Byrne pulls out of Burton and Taylor biopic

Irish actor Gabriel Bryne has pulled out of the forthcoming biopic on the dramatic romance of Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

The Usual Suspects star, 55, was set to play the late Welsh acting legend in 'A first class affair', but dropped out after the script failed to materialise in time.

Bryne explains: "I was to play Burton but not now. The script just wasn't ready in time. It's a shame."
