Teenage actress reported missing

Teenage actress Scout Taylor-Compton has been placed on the California police

missing persons register list after disappearing on August 12.

The Sleepover actress, who also appeared on TV show Gilmore Girls has been

reported missing by worried family members in Apple Valley, California.

In a statement released earlier yesteray, the young actress' family

has thanked officials searching for her.

They said: "We are praying for her safe return. We have faith in the agencies working on the case and are optimistic that the outcome will be positive."
