Sin City star Jessica Alba has beaten a host of Hollywood stars to land the coveted lead in the I Dream of Jeannie movie.

The actress will join funnyman Jimmy Fallon for the latest revamp of a classic TV series, after reportedly beating Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan and Alicia Silverstone to the role.
