Mayo Rose wins Rose of Tralee

Mayo Rose Aoibhinn O’Sullivan has been named the 47th Rose of Tralee.

She was the clear favourite with bookies to claim the crown.

The 22-year-old Rose is a Theoretical Physics graduate.

Roses travelled from Australia, New Zealand, America, Dubai, and the UK for the competition, which was presented by Ray D'Arcy.
