The Doors stars Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek are facing another messy battle with former bandmate John Densmore after renaming the group after one of the rockers' most famous hits.

Densmore and the estate of tragic singer Jim Morrison recently won a court battle forcing Krieger and Manzarek to stop using the name The Doors of the 21st century while playing live with The Cult star Ian Astbury.

And so the duo have opted to tour as Riders On The Storm - a name Densmore fought over and won with a Los Angeles-based Doors tribute group in the early 1990s.

The Dorrs of the 21st century were forced to use a name that didn't include the word `Doors,' but their new moniker is likely to rankle Densmore, whose biographical book was also titled Riders On The Storm.
